Method and background
How this is calculated
Every system is converted through foot length in centimetres, which is the only physical quantity involved. The relationships are consistent enough to tabulate: US men run one above UK, US women one and a half above US men, and EU sizes follow the Paris point of two thirds of a centimetre. What no table can capture is that brands differ by up to a full size from each other, so the output is a starting point for which size to try.
