Flow Rate Converter

Flow rate across litres per minute, cubic metres per hour, US gallons per minute and cubic feet per minute. Pump and compressor specifications rarely use the same unit as the pipe standard they attach to.

Also called: lpm to gpm, cfm converter, pump flow converter.

How this is calculated

Flow is volume per unit time, held against litres per second. The units in use are a matter of trade rather than physics: water pumps are usually specified in litres per minute or gallons per minute, ventilation in cubic feet per minute, and industrial process flow in cubic metres per hour.
