What is Sequence-of-returns risk?
The risk that the *order* of returns, not just their average, determines whether a withdrawal plan survives.
A poor first five years can exhaust a corpus that the average return says was sufficient. Any projection assuming a constant rate cannot show this, which is the single largest limitation of retirement calculators.
