Count how many scored below you, add half of those who tied, and divide by the total. That mid-rank treatment of ties is the standard convention and stops identical scores getting different percentiles. The distinction worth stating is that a 90th percentile is not a score of 90: it means you did better than ninety percent of the group, which on a hard paper might be a raw mark of sixty.
